With ME!

“And is it alright if I stay all night by the shoreline?”

“But the Lord is with me as a mighty terrible one: therefore my persecutors shall stumble, and they shall not prevail: they shall be greatly ashamed; for they shall not prosper: their everlasting confusion shall never be forgotten.” -Jeremiah 20:11

As a bible believing christian, how do you feel when you read this verse?

Meditate in these words. What comes to your mind? What comes to my mind? … Holiness. A holy God, near His holy people!

As technology has increased everyone has become aware that our privacy has been and is compromised in one way or another. My question is what do we have to hide? Have we stopped to consider this one thing? We cannot hide anything from Him, but yet we live lives as if He’s not watching us. We hide from our kids, parents, teachers, friends, spouses, employer and even the church. Today it’s time to stop hiding from God and come clean.

“Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account.” -Hebrews 4:13

“Stay encouraged! Stay in the word!” -Eunice Guzman

When you look in the mirror what do you see? It’s easy to pick ourselves apart in the mirror especially as the years pile on and our bodies change. But remember not to see yourself with these earthly eyes. Look at yourself through Gods eyes! Remember he created you perfect & rested knowing that. Can you put your mind at ease knowing this very thing? “And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good…” Genesis 1:31… “Stay encouraged! Stay in the word!”

How strong are you today?

So what are our strengths and our weaknesses. In our walk with The Lord we have to be strong. Not with the same strength of when we came to the knowledge of Christ. Nor the strength of last year. We need to be stronger today in the faith & in the word than we were yesterday. So we can resist the devil and He can flee. Are you ready for your work out? “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.” -Ephesians 6:10… “Stay encouraged!Stay in the word!

What time is it?

Time flies! What are we doing with our time? Are we distracted? or To busy to care? When the clock strikes it will be to late. Don’t be caught scrambling looking for time because there will not be any. Many don’t think about it and some choose not to believe it, but the Lord is coming soon and the time you had yesterday is gone. Let’s look at the time before us and start taking advantage of today, every hour & minute. So what time is it? It’s time to get right with God!

“Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled. Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away. But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up. Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.” -Matthew 24:34-44

Digital Invasion

“Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in fear of God.” -2 Corinthians 7:1

We know that the devil has come to kill steal and destroy, right? We may be deceiving our selves by thinking he is still coming after us. When the truth is that he already came and has been conquered. The truth is that his presence in this world has left a permanent scar in our flesh and in this world. Our flesh and that spirit in the world from the moment we are concieved is actively working against us. Daily we are reminding of our fallen nature, constantly lusting, easily distracted, easily attracted and seeking satisfaction.

The devil no longer has a hold of us. Jesus came to conqueror the devil and to destroy his works both in us and in the world. Therefore, after coming to really know Christ. We can no longer blame our actions on the devil since he has been defeated. The power of His blood has now given us the ability to see the schemes and deceit actively working in and all around us. Today we are able to be aware of temptation and pit falls to prevent us from falling. Giving us the power to walk in holiness. Yes, be holy just as he was and is holy.

I have had my own convictions about digital use and misuse and have had to make adjustments in my life so to not be robbed. Technology if misused can steal, kill and destroy your TIME, your RELATIONSHIPS and your HEALTH. How can we remain pure in this world? I believe that we all need to take a step back and allow God to examine this area of our lives. I believe we all need to be aware of the new age traps that are affecting all our lives. Let us prayerfully ask God to reveal to us how we may be compromising and contaminating our minds, bodies and souls through technology. I urge you to take the time to listen to the link below & share with others. Begin using technology for the Glory of God!! 🙂

Do you believe this?

“I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?” -John 11:25-26

BELIEVE: Do you believe you can be sure of your salvation today & knowing where you will spend eternity?

  • “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me,”… WHEN? Today! TODAY is the time to believe! TODAY is the time to be sure of your salvation! Do not be deceived! Without Jesus there will be no hope for you in the grave or at His second coming. Today is the day to secure your salvation & what joy there is to those who have this confidence.

“In an acceptable time I have heard you, And in the day of salvation I have helped you.” Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.” -2 Corinthians 6:2

Today, if you will hear His voice,
Do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion.” -Hebrew 3:15

IN: Can you hear His voice calling you to be purged daily?

  • He who believes in Me,”… Jesus is always calling us. He has sent the Holy Spirit to teach us all things and to lead us to all truth, so that we can respond to His calling. We all know when God is calling us in our heart to do or not to do something. God through His spirit is revealing to us our sins daily so we can in life purge ourselves from it and bear good fruit. This is true repentance & redemption of sins! A daily cleansing and purifying of your mind, body and soul.

In life: “For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.” –2 Corinthians 4:1-*6,7

Life after death: “For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus.” -1 Thessalonians 4:14

LIFE: Do you believe there is hope for anyone after death?

  • “He who believes in Me, (When? In life!) though he may die, he shall live.“… There is nothing anyone can do for the salvation of the dead granting them acceptance into heaven. If you die without accepting Jesus and his sacrifice for the forgiveness of all your sins you are  lost forever. There is only salvation in Jesus and no one else. His blood made atonement (expiation or propitiation) for all our sins (past, present & future). The price has been paid! Nothing else can be said or done for those who have gone down to the grave without Jesus. The bible says that we will be judged according to how we lived. It is up to you today to choose LIFE!

Can the dead perform works?: “What is gained if I am silenced, if I go down to the pit? Will the dust praise you? Will it proclaim your faithfulness?” -Psalm 30:9

For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.” –Matthew 16:24-*27

“But they will have to give account to him who is ready to judge the living and the dead.” -1 Peter 4:1-5

Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.” -John 5:28-29

HOW will you rise when He calls your name?

  • “And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die.” We who are alive have only one duty unto God. Those of course who have believed this message.

Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God and keep His commandments, For this is man’s all. For God will bring every work into judgment, Including every secret thing, Whether good or evil.” -Ecclesiastes 12:13-14

And now, Israel, what does the Lord your God require of you, but to fear the Lord your God, to walk in all His ways and to love Him, to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul,” -Deuteronomy 10:12

“For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ,” -Philippians 3:20

  • The status of a citizen with rights and duties.
  • A person who legally belongs to a country and has the right and protection of that country.
  • One entitled to the right and privileges of a freeman.

How can I acquire “heavenly” citizenship? God made it possible through Jesus to be fully qualified and meet all the requirements of becoming citizen of the kingdom of heaven. What does the bible say?

  • Parents are citizens: “right of blood”, parent, ancestry, ethnicity
  • Born within a country: “right of soil”; What kind of birth?
    • In order for us to see the kingdom of God we must be born again of the Spirit: John 3:1-8
  • Marriage to a citizen: The bible says that we are espoused to one husband. Who is the husband? Who is the bride?
  • Naturalization – subject to conditions like passing a test demonstrating reasonable knowledge of the language or way of life of the host country, good conduct (no serious criminal record), swearing allegiance to their new state or its ruler, and renouncing their prior citizenship.
  • Excluded categories – In the past there have been exclusions on the entitlement of citizenship on grounds such as skin color, ethnicity, sex, and free status. Most of these exclusions no longer apply in most places.

How should we live & conduct ourselves here on earth while we anxiously await to live in our Heavenly Kingdom? 1 Peter 2:9-18
