Traveling Soon?

There is a stirring up. An expectancy. Can you feel it?  Peace to ALL. To those who have stood up and are alert (Luke 21:28). As injustice, chaos, fear, and confusion creep into our nation, streets, and minds, what is our response? We are getting our house in order, preparing our personal bag, our families, and alerting our beloved neighbors. We are stirred to earnest prayer, work diligently, and patiently wait for our expected departure (Matthew 24:36).

“… Our God, will you not judge them? For we have no power to face this vast army that is attacking us. We do not know what to do, but our eyes are on you.”” -2 Chronicles 20:12

People get ready, Jesus is comin’. Soon we’ll be going home.

Lost in the Mystery of HIS Victory

“But Mary stood outside by the tomb weeping, and as she wept she stooped down and looked into the tomb.” -John 20:11

How long will you weep outside an empty tomb?

Following in someone’s foot steps is easy when we can see, feel and touch them. What happens when they are no longer around? We stop dead in our tracks and cannot walk anymore. Thanks to God we do not follow the foots steps of an ordinary man. Jesus has never left us and is closer than ever before.

Mary Magdalene and the disciples followed after Jesus closely. Learning and watching him do and say miraculous things. It was hard for them to see Jesus go and even more difficult for them to believe he would truly rise from the dead. As long as he was around the thought was far and almost absent from their minds. How often do you think of your loved ones leaving this earth?

Mary wept outside the tomb for the body of her Lord. The pain of her loss was so much that she didn’t think once that she would see Jesus again after death…

Thanks be to God for His great mercy that we can now see Jesus at the finish line of our faith. Instead of focusing on our present circumstances we should focus our eyes on where Jesus stands… at the right hand of God. He is the author and finisher of our faith. He stands victorious for us at the finish line with open arms.

Diligent

Meditating on this word today… DILIGENT.
“But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” -Hebrews 11:6
“Stay encouraged. Stay in the word.” & a very Merry Christmas 2016!

Today…

“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” -Proverbs 3:5-6

Today marks the start of a new beginning for me. Is there something you’ve been wanting to accomplish. A goal that seems to get pushed further and further away from becoming a reality. I challenge you today not to focus on the goal achieved, but rather focus on the first steps taken. One step at a time, then one day at a time… Let’s make our journeys meaningful every step of the way.

Thy Will Be Done

Thy will be done…
How easy is that for us to accept. Easy it is to believe God’s will is right there when things are going well. What about in the trials? Is God all of a sudden not faithful? Is God not able to make a way? Let’s reap the rich benefits Gods word promises… LET’S PROFIT FROM OUR TRIALS!!
“My brethren, count it all JOY when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces PATIENCE . But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be PERFECT and COMPLETE, LACKING NOTHING.” -James 1:2-4

“Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls: Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation. The Lord God is my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds’ feet, and he will make me to walk upon mine high places. To the chief singer on my stringed instruments.” -Habakkuk 3:17-19

Is this you?

Is this you? Called. Servant. Chosen.

“Thou whom I have taken from the ends of the earth, and called thee from the chief men thereof, and said unto thee, Thou art my servant; I have chosen thee, and not cast thee away. Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. Behold, all they that were incensed against thee shall be ashamed and confounded: they shall be as nothing; and they that strive with thee shall perish.
When the poor and needy seek water, and there is none, and their tongue faileth for thirst, I the Lord will hear them, I the God of Israel will not forsake them. I will open rivers in high places, and fountains in the midst of the valleys: I will make the wilderness a pool of water, and the dry land springs of water. I will plant in the wilderness the cedar, the shittah tree, and the myrtle, and the oil tree; I will set in the desert the fir tree, and the pine, and the box tree together: That they may see, and know, and consider, and understand together, that the hand of the Lord hath done this, and the Holy One of Israel hath created it.”
